“Recess” is an American animated television series produced by Walt Disney Television Animation created by Paul Germain and Joe Ansolabehere (Paul and Joe). The series centers on six elementary school students and follows their interaction with teachers and other classmates. Recess aired on ABC from 1997 – 2001. Reruns aired on the Disney Channel in the U.S.
The series was so successful that it was distributed to numerous countries around the world, most notably the United Kingdom.
