Jeff Silverman Presents
FYC 2024
I wish to convey my deepest gratitude to each artist mentioned below. Their invaluable trust and willingness to include me in their creative journey has been an extraordinary honor!
• Best American Roots Song: “Carried The Torch”
• Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals: “So Long Since September”
• Best Immersive Album
To quote and sincerely thank John Apice for his recent reviews:
“The CD has a pristine sound from the Atmos/Spatial Audio application. I hear it. I’m from the generation that heard good mono presence, stereo hi-fi, Quadrophonic surround with Dolby & Beta Hi-fi with ambient sound. Many applications that were impressive & are now relegated to the dust heap. Hopefully, Atmos may catch. It does add a nice warmth to the reproduction.”
“Debra Lyn always avoids the traps of clichés. Her lyrics have a sense of poignancy, and her voice shines through the words superbly. The diamonds among the zirconias are the folky-country-inflected ‘Believe’ and ‘Drunken Fool’—both imaginative and where Debra Lyn should be. The word excellent sums it up.”

Harry Chapin’s iconic “Cat’s in the Cradle” was released on August 24th 1974…
exactly fifty years ago.
